Wisconsin Economic Development Corp (WEDC)
Global Training Center working with the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp (WEDC) to grow and expand Global Business in the State of Wisconsin.
The Global Business Development Program aids the growth and expansion of the state’s exports by providing matching grant funding to Wisconsin businesses for export training, development, and promotion activities.
The program consists of two grant components that are designed with flexibility to best meet the specific export development and international trade promotion needs of the Wisconsin company.
Export Development Grant This grant is designed to help small-medium sized companies become export-ready and to better assist them in developing the internal competence to enter and expand into global markets.
- New-to-export companies
- Up to $3,000 in a year
- Export seminars, international educational events, developing a company export strategy
International Market Access Grant This grant can be used for reimbursement of specific expenses associated with exhibiting at an approved trade show in a foreign market, participating in a matchmaker trade delegation program or certified trade mission, website and literature localization and consulting services needed to meet certain international product certification requirements.
