CTPAT – Container Security (Spanish)

Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) is a voluntary program that provides benefits for companies certified under the program. CTPAT is a layer in CBP’s cargo enforcement strategy. It is intended to strengthen supply chains and improve U.S. border security.

The success of the program begins with secure cargo and containers.  For a CTPAT certified company, the success of their program highly depends on ensuring that those individuals that directly handle or are responsible for cargo are aware of the security requirements and obligations. This training provides an overview of what individuals should be looking out for and documenting or reporting anything that may be a threat to the supply chain.

This course is made up of a total of 4 lessons.  Each lesson is designed to concentrate on specific areas that make up the CTPAT program and help individuals with the requirements of the company to remain in compliance.  Each lesson contains a video and a review that will need to be completed to proceed to the next section.  Lessons may not be taken out of order.

When all lessons are completed, there is a final exam to test your knowledge. When you pass the exam you will be awarded a certificate of completion along with a digital badge to display on your profile and share with the community.
