International Trade Fundamentals Course.
This hybrid course is intended for employees, new employees, employees with new roles, management, and executives who currently Import/Export in their business or plan to import/export and would like an overview and understanding of the trade and customs compliance requirements.
This course is intended to provide a fundamental overview of international trade compliance for both import and export transactions. This is a great way to build a foundation towards understanding what it takes to import products, ship products globally, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection requirements.

Please note: This course is NOT intended to help individuals start an Import/Export business. This course covers rules and practical issues that arise from importing and exporting merchandise and not the marketing, sources, purchasing, or otherwise business functions of starting a physical business or e-commerce store.
What is a Hybrid Course?
A hybrid course, also known as blended course, is a combination of viewing a recorded course and then meeting with an instructor, via web-based online learning, for discussions and Q&A.
How long is the course?
The course will run for 4 weeks starting on November 8 (skipping Thanksgiving week), and will include the following each week:
- Attendee is responsible for viewing a short video (45-90 minutes) prior to Wednesday of that week.
- On Wednesday 2pm Central Time, attend a 2 hour webinar with live instructor for discussion of video (step 1) and for Q&A.
- Attendee will take exam on the topics discussed.
- Repeat steps 1-3 for 3 weeks.
